re: thank you for the jeju orange chocolates! they were delicious!

Shin Sung-Min:

"Oh~~ don't mention it.

If you were delicious, I'm happy!! :)"

In other news, my desire to do any job I'm given well translates into a deep-seated desire to teach these kids as much as I can. And if putting my insecurities on display makes my students more excited about learning, then I'll put them on a goddamn poster.

Glad to hear you're so delicious.

I am very impressed with your dedication to the kids, and hope that I will feel just as motivated when I meet mine.

i mean, i was kind of talking about the poster in a non-literal sense. what i meant to say is: it's really hard for me to make a spectacle of myself (draw impromptu pictures, fall down, act silly, be a clown?) when i'm not drunk and with a support group of other people making spectacles of themselves.

but the point is, i make a spectacle of myself in school. it helps. i'm getting better at it. but it still kind of makes me want to die.

that being said, i did make a poster. it's a menu. i drew pictures of steak, noodles, pizza, cake, cookies, coffee, and tea - which may or may not secretly represent my insecurities.
